Currently, we are taking applications for:

Crew Chief

The Crew Chief performs tasks involving physical labor outside and inside. Directly supervises and coordinates activities of their crew. Handles job logs and creates their run for each night. Operates truck and trailer equipment. Performs commercial cleaning duties.

Tasks:

• • Assigns work to crew on a nightly basis
  • Examines and inspects the trailer and other equipment to verify everything is in working order
  • Records information on job logs pertaining to work that was performed at each location and communicates with supervisors to ensure any production or personnel problems are resolved
  • Contacts the Scheduling Coordinator or Salesperson with any on the job issues pertaining to the scope of work
  • Directs and leads workers on their specific tasks while on the job site
  • Trains any new crew in their group

Work Context Requirements:

• • Full range of movement, including using hands to handle and control equipment,
  • Contact with others (face-to-face, by telephone, or otherwise),
  • Coordinating or leading others in accomplishing work activities, and includes responsibility for work outcomes and results,
  • Wearing common personal protective equipment,
  • Working indoors in environmentally controlled conditions,
  • Working outdoors, exposed to all weather conditions.
  • Clean driver’s license and ability to drive company vehicles.

Work Activities:

• • Motivate crew to achieve timely goals
  • Plan or organize work to be time-efficient
  • Uses hand tools for minor repairs
  • Assigns work to crew

  • Orients new crew members
  • Demonstrates and explains the use of equipment
